Anheuser-Busch is a global leader in beer production, with diversified operations extending into adventure park entertainment, packaging, aluminum beverage container recycling, malt production, rice milling, real estate development, and more. The company required an efficient and scalable solution for its IT operations due to its large-scale business activities, which involved complex infrastructure, data management challenges, and rising operational costs within the IT group. They turned to Sector7 to assess the existing infrastructure and propose a strategy for optimization.

Sector7 developed a comprehensive plan that addressed the critical need for infrastructure consolidation, Oracle database instance reduction, and server optimization. The project involved the analysis of over 100 physical and virtual servers, many of which were running diverse operating systems, including Linux and Windows. By consolidating servers with similar operating systems and reducing the number of database versions, Sector7 helped streamline IT operations, leading to enhanced hardware utilization, improved performance, and scalability across the organization.
