Sector7 and Transformix partnered to migrate the Ford TWO's system for all Ford factories from HP3000 MPE to Linux.
Sector7's VX/COBOL also translates VMS/OpenVMS COBOL to MicroFocus COBOL. Sector7 OpenVMS compatibility libraries (VX/RT) and VX/RMS are also integrated with MicroFocus COBOL runtime.
Sector7's VX/COBOL translates VMS/OpenVMS COBOL's significantly extended COBOL syntax to Fujitsu NetCOBOL. In addition, Sector7 has written a VMS like debugger to enable your programmers to program on both OpenVMS and Linux without having to switch IDE's. Sector has integrated its VX/RT VMS/OpenVMS API libraries with Fujitsu's runtime and, in addition, integrated Sector7's OpenVMS RMS equivalent into the NetCOBOL file handler.
SIMCON Global produces the highly successful Fortran Partner - FPT. As with most languages DEC produced they heavily extended the syntax to make it simpler for the programmers to do routines tasks. If programmers have made use of these extension, the OpenVMS Fortran is no longer portable.
