VSI is working on an x86 (Intel) version of VMS / OpenVMS.

SIMCON Global produces the highly successful Fortran Partner - FPT. As with most languages DEC produced they heavily extended the syntax to make it simpler for the programmers to do routines tasks. If programmers have made use of these extension, the VMS / OpenVMS Fortran is no longer portable. One simple example are the I/O extensions for RMS file operations. FPT is fully integrated with VX/RT and seamlessly converts the RMS I/O into in-line calls to the Sector7 RMS equivalent. This allows the costumer to retain the RMS calls while developing on VMS and 1005 automatically convert when compiling for Linux or Windows. In addition to FPT 100% conversion capability, FPT can also standardize the Fortran, convert loops, eliminate GOTO's and many many more features to reduce potential coding errors.

Sector7's VX/COBOL trans;ates VMS / OpenVMS COBOL's significantly extended COBOL syntax to Fujitsu NetCOBOL. In addition, Sector7 has written a VMS like debugger to enable your programmers to program on both VMS / OpenVMS and Linux without having to switch IDE's. Sector has integrated its VX/RT VMS / OpenVMS API libraries with Fujitsu's runtime and, in addition, integrated Sector7's VMS / OpenVMS RMS equivalent into the NetCOBOL file handler.

Sector7's VX/COBOL also translates VMS / OpenVMS COBOL to MicroFocus COBOL. Sector7 VMS / OpenVMS compatibility libraries (VX/RT) and VX/RMS are also integrated with MicroFocus COBOL runtime.

Transformix is a privately held information technology integration, reseller, and consulting organization. Headquartered in San Diego, CA,  Transformix provides enterprise infrastructure consulting and management, application reengineering , consulting, and training for its clients.

Sector7 and Transformix have worked together for 14 years on many migration projects. Sector7 and Transformix partnered to migrate the Ford TWO's system for all Ford factories from HP3000 MPE to Linux.
